Ah now I understand. My copy of the file is empty. Hence my original question above:

Do I have to edit "elementtypes.csv" and "filetypes.csv" files manually?

Maybe you downloaded the version for generic CSV editing? The second download link the first post?

The first download link includes the TC2M file and element types. Of course you wouldn't get any drop-down lists without that.

To be honest mate, I'm not a 100% sure where I got it from. Since I bought the game, I've had a bit of a download fest Very Happy

I've got more add-ons and mods than I now what to do with....

<checking out original post now>

Edit: Now we're rolling!

<Note to self: Engage brain before download>

Here's the current build. Just extract the exe and replace your current one with it.

If you want to test the new stuff before I officially post the update, I would appreciate it. Other people are bound to notice things I wasn't looking for. Smile

One bijou bugette....

Open up a formations.csv file, and check out the Skirmish formation for example - columns past the "Closest Enemy" are chopped off.

(I only know this because I'm trying to create a new formation based on the skirmish one)

Thanks for catching that. It's a problem in the filetypes.csv, not the code itself. I set up the formations filetype based on the descriptions in the first line of that file, and that file has multiple types of lines.

To fix that change the formations line in filetypes.csv to this:

Quote:
formation,name,text,text,text,text,formation,text,text,int,dec,int,formation,int_0_100,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,text,

Ta - that fixed it. I should have thought of that myself.

I found and fixed the bug where clicking on cells sometimes didn't do anything if the window was not full size. That was a dumb one.

If you found any other issues or have any suggestions let me know.

I just moved the project from VS 6.0 to 2008 so debugging is much easier now.

Hadn't notice the issue but downloaded the updated exe anyway
